My family came from Shanghai, China for my child's treatment. As the father of the patient, I would like to express my gratitude to Professor Song Hae-ryong of the Orthopedic Department and Korea University Guro Hospital for operating on and treating my child. During the two months in the hospital, Professor Song Hae-ryong, who has excellent qualities as a doctor and the best orthopedic pride in Korea, treated my son with love and care, using the best technical skills to reduce his pain. His words and actions had the responsibility of the doctors of this era.

My son was born with congenital hip dislocation and deformity.

He is 10 years old this year, and it has been difficult for him to walk since June of the following year. So, I tried to get treatment at large hospitals in my home country and other countries (Japan/Hong Kong), but I did not receive effective treatment.

Around the beginning of this year, I was recommended by Mr. Kang, who works at a hospital in Shanghai, and visited Professor Song Hae-ryong of Korea University Guro Hospital in Korea. As soon as I arrived in Korea, I underwent a pre-operative examination with the quick response of the medical staff, and I was diagnosed with my child's disease. In addition, I was given a detailed explanation by showing the success case files of previous patients treated by Professor Song Hae-ryong. After that, he explained the surgical procedure for my child, and on June 16, 2015, Professor Song Hae-ryong successfully completed my son's surgery.

After that, while undergoing treatment and rehabilitation, Professor Song Hae-ryong and the head nurse of the ward helped my son overcome the battle with the disease while he was struggling with pain in the hospital. And the other nurses also took care of my son with good skills, which left a deep impression.

Although I was fighting and winning against the disease and was taking some stability, participation in various programs (hospital school classes) conducted by the hospital for children was of great help in living in the hospital. By participating in the program, my son's anxiety was diverted to other places, resolving his worries. We received additional help in areas we never thought of, which warmed our hearts.

For two months, disappointment gradually changed into hope and confidence. Many anxieties disappeared due to the excellent responsibility and professional care of the doctors and nurses. Our family sincerely felt that Korea University Guro Hospital was like heaven for patients.

Our family was sincerely impressed by Professor Song Hae-ryong, Mr. Lee Wi-cheol (China Fellow), and all the teachers in the Department of Orthopedics.

Guro Hospital seems to have excellent qualifications as a hospital with competent diagnosis and treatment and nursing for children.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the hospital's managers. Thanks to the excellent leadership and efforts of the managers, the hospital was harmoniously managed, and I was able to benefit from human service as a patient. As the father of the patient, I cannot express my gratitude in words. In my heart, I feel more gratitude and respect for the hospital and everyone who treated my son.

With this, on behalf of my family, I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again. I also sincerely hope that the hospital will prosper even more.

I sincerely hope that excellent medical skills and qualifications will be further developed and passed on to junior doctors to give hope to more patients and families.

Finally, I wish the leaders and medical staff of the hospitals to be healthy and happy.
