Kore University Guro Hospital signed a cooperation agreement with the Lotte Public Benefit Foundation on September 11, 2006 and started sponsoring free examination projects and medical expenses for limb deformities and scoliosis in facilities for the disabled.
Currently (2009), 400 million won in annual donations are being provided as medical expenses to Korea University Medical Center (Guro, Anam, Ansan), and
rare and incurable disease patients (achondroplasia, etc.) and disabled people who are economically disadvantaged are the main beneficiaries.
