Korea University Guro Hospital (Director Eun Baek-rin) recently signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Shriners Children's Hospital of McGill University in Canada and musculoskeletal regeneration treatment development company Ortho-Heal Co., Ltd.

The signing ceremony was attended by Eun Baek-rin, Hospital Director, Hadil Al-Jalad, Research Management Coordinator in the field of bone regeneration at Shriners Children's Hospital, and Song Hae-ryong, CEO of Ortho-Heal Co., Ltd. (Professor of Orthopedics at Korea University Guro Hospital). On this day, the three institutions agreed to cooperate in the field of bone regeneration research and development in △ exchange of research results, academic data and information, and publications △ exchange of research and development personnel △ development of joint research programs.

Director Eun Baek-rin said, "I am pleased that Korea University Guro Hospital, as a result of its active promotion of research and development commercialization, is able to cooperate with its subsidiary Ortho-Heal Co., Ltd., which was established last year, and Shriners Children's Hospital of McGill University in Canada, a pediatric orthopedic specialty hospital." "We will create a broader research infrastructure through the establishment of active cooperation systems not only with domestic but also with foreign institutions," he said.

CEO Song Hae-ryong said, "Shriners Children's Hospital of McGill University in Canada, which boasts a history of over 90 years, has accumulated abundant clinical data and know-how in the field of bone regeneration, so it is expected that it will contribute to improving the treatment of fracture patients through bone regeneration treatment research and development."
