Korea University Guro Hospital (Director Eun Baek-rin) recently signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Shriners Children's Hospital at McGill University in Canada and musculoskeletal regeneration treatment development company, Ortho-Heal Co., Ltd. The signing ceremony was attended by Director Eun Baek-rin, Hadil Al-Jalad, Research Management Coordinator in the field of bone regeneration at Shriners Children's Hospital, and Song Hae-ryong, CEO of Ortho-Heal Co., Ltd. (Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Korea University Guro Hospital). On this day, the three organizations agreed to cooperate in △ exchange of research results, academic data and information, and publications △ exchange of research and development personnel △ development of joint research programs in bone regeneration research and development. Director Eun Baek-rin said, "I am pleased that Korea University Guro Hospital, as a result of its actively promoted R&D commercialization project, has been able to cooperate with its subsidiary Ortho-Heal Co., Ltd., established last year, and Shriners Children's Hospital at McGill University in Canada, a pediatric orthopedic specialty hospital." We will create a broader research infrastructure through an active cooperative system with domestic as well as foreign institutions." CEO Song Hae-ryong said, "Shriners Children's Hospital at McGill University in Canada, which boasts a history of over 90 years, has accumulated a wealth of clinical data and know-how in the field of bone regeneration, so we expect that it will contribute to improving the treatment of fracture patients through bone regeneration treatment research and development."
