Notice: Michelle Wie's Donation Ceremony of Love

Michelle Wie had a meaningful time with children with incurable diseases and fans by attending the 'Charity Bazaar to Help Children with Incurable Diseases' event held at the Lotte Department Store main branch in Sogong-dong, Seoul on the morning of the 9th.
At the event held from 11:30 a.m., Michelle Wie went shopping with children with incurable diseases and then moved to the fan signing event to attend the fan signing event.
Michelle Wie, who constantly smiled and helped children shop at the Nike store on the 7th floor of Lotte Department Store, had a meeting with fans at the fan signing event on the 1st floor, signing autographs and taking pictures with them.
Several Japanese fans also attended, realizing Michelle Wie's international popularity. A Japanese female fan was seen holding Michelle Wie's autograph and unable to hide her joy.
Michelle Wie's father, Wie Byung-wook, said, "I made a donation in 2006, and many friends recovered from their illnesses with the donation. That's why we're holding another charity event."
Michelle Wie, who arrived in Korea the day before, will participate in the 'KLPGA Lotte Mart Women's Open' held at Jeju Sky Hill CC from the 15th to the 17th.
Michelle Wie, who is participating in a domestic competition for the first time in three years since participating in the SK Telecom Open, a men's competition in 2006, will be participating in a domestic women's competition for the first time.
Wie Byung-wook, who explained that he came to Korea with his whole family, said, "Michelle Wie is very excited to be participating in the Korean competition after a long time. However, she came to Korea focusing on meaningful activities such as charity bazaars rather than the competition."
He continued, "I emphasized social contribution a lot to Michelle Wie. She is also doing various donation activities in the United States."
Meanwhile, at the event, an auction was also held for items that Michelle Wie used, such as drivers, T-shirts, and hats, with her autograph on them. The proceeds from the auction will be used to help children with incurable diseases.
Pro golfer Michelle Wie donated 100,000,000 won for use by short statured patients’ medical expenses. This past Thursday, April 9 at the Lotte Hotel, Michelle Wie presented ₩ 100,000,000 won to Oh Dong Ju,the Korea University Medical Director. There were many present at the ceremony including Michelle Wie, Oh Dong Ju (Medical Director of Korea University), Byeon Gwan Su (Korea University Guro Hospital Director), professor of orthopedic Song Hae Ryong, and members of LPK (Little People of Korea) as well as patients and families.
Before the fund delivery ceremony, Michelle Wie met with the short statured patients and presented them with back packs and shoes. She was greeted especially warmly by the patients who were treated with her last donation of 150,000,000 won in 2006. Michelle Wie Player said "I was surprisedby how much bigger the small children were compared to 3 years ago. I am happy that they seem much more confident." She also commented, "I received all the letters that my friends sent me and I was happy to see them again. The stuffed animal that I received from a patient is on my golf bag but it is now worn out because it has been 3 years. I hope that I am of some help to the patient’s treatments."
Oh Dong Ju, Korea University Medical Director, commented "Michelle Wie’s help does not simply end at providing medical expenses. Her donation will go a long ways to allow the short statured patients to lead more confident lives."He also wished her the best of luck in her future games and asked for continued support.
