New Daesung Hospital and Bucheon Christian Federation Sign Medical Treatment Agreement MOU

The Bucheon Christian Federation (President Lee Geum-suk) signed a medical treatment agreement with the Daesung Foundation New Daesung Hospital (Chairman Hong Seok-won) on July 13 for medical support projects.

For this medical treatment agreement ceremony, Medical Director Song Hae-ryong, Hospital Director Yoon Jeong-ro, Auditor Kim Hee-suk, Nursing Director Kim Jong-ran, Nursing Manager Jeong Jeong-sun, Health Screening Team Leader Kim Mi-ra, and Administration Office Manager Kim Gi-na attended from New Daesung Hospital, and President Lee Geum-suk, Secretary-General Cho Geun-il, Secretary Lee Kwang-won, Elder Kim Sang-heon, Elder Song Chang-seop, and Elder Cha Hyo-moon attended from the Bucheon Christian Federation.

New Daesung Hospital is a 500-bed general hospital located in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to help vulnerable and marginalized groups in welfare blind spots overcome crisis situations by providing customized medical services. If the Bucheon Christian Federation receives referrals from local governments and social welfare facilities for those in need of emergency medical support services, New Daesung Hospital will provide high-quality medical services as well as medical expense reduction benefits.

New Daesung Hospital, which operates the largest health promotion center in western Gyeonggi Province, will also support health checkups and non-covered medical treatments for social welfare workers under the Bucheon Christian Federation.

This business agreement was concluded when New Daesung Hospital first conveyed its intention to the Bucheon Christian Federation, saying, "We want to help Christian organizations in Bucheon." At the signing ceremony held at New Daesung Hospital on this day, Medical Director Song Hae-ryong (Vincent), a Catholic, pledged, "We will practice the common good by providing customized medical services to the underprivileged in difficult circumstances and strive to develop welfare in the local community."
