Korea University Guro Hospital (Director Eun Baek-rin) recently signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding (MOU) with McGill University Shriners Hospital for Children in Canada and musculoskeletal regeneration treatment development company Osheal Co., Ltd.
The signing ceremony was attended by Director Eun Baek-rin, Hadil Al-Jallad, Research Management Coordinator of Bone Regeneration at Shriners Hospital for Children, and Song Hae-ryong, CEO of Osheal Co., Ltd. (Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Korea University Guro Hospital). On this day, the three institutions agreed to cooperate in △ exchange of research results, academic data and information, and publications △ exchange of research and development personnel △ development of joint research programs in bone regeneration research and development.
Director Eun Baek-rin said, "I am pleased that Korea University Guro Hospital, as a result of the research and development commercialization project that it is actively promoting, has been able to cooperate with its subsidiary Osheal Co., Ltd., which was established last year, and McGill University Shriners Hospital for Children, a pediatric orthopedic specialty hospital in Canada," adding, "We will create a broader research infrastructure through active cooperation with domestic and foreign institutions."
CEO Song Hae-ryong said, "McGill University Shriners Hospital for Children in Canada, which boasts a history of over 90 years, has accumulated abundant clinical data and know-how in the field of bone regeneration, so it is expected to contribute to improving the treatment of fracture patients through bone regeneration treatment research and development."
